About the Kairos Team
The Kairos team is committed to serving its members to improve insurance reimbursement, provide cost savings, ensure delivery of high quality service, and provide resources to meet the changing healthcare environment. The Kairos personnel are experienced professionals specializing in clinical, financial, operational, and administrative services.
The Kairos team is made up of:
- The President/CEO, who reports directly to the Kairos Board of Directors and is responsible for the overall direction and management of the organization.
- The Senior Director & Director of Contracting and Network Development are responsible for facilitating the relationships between each Kairos member facility and each managed care organization or other health plans. This department oversees, maintains, and enhances all managed care contracts and initiates and maintains contacts within the health plan to facilitate positive patient outcomes, optimize contract negotiation, and assist with payment resolution. The department oversees and leads the design, implementation, and administration for provider payment methodologies that align the incentives of Kairos facilities with the various health plans to provide outcomes based, cost effective healthcare for patients/residents. The Senior Director & Director of Contracting and Network Development also act as consultant, advocate, and liaison with assigned health plans to assure the proper process is followed and proper payment is received for all managed care patient/resident encounters.
- The Member Services Representative supports the Directors of Contracting and Network Development in providing customer service and support. This person assists with credentialing, claims recovery and troubleshooting payer issues. In addition, the member services representative provides education and support services related to coverage and reimbursement for the Kairos members.
- The Administrative Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of the office. This person manages all accounting procedures to include the day-to-day, monthly, quarterly, and yearly business office operations along with facilitating a yearly accounting audit. This also includes payroll, benefits management, accounts receivable, accounts payable and assisting in yearly budget preparation. The Administrative Manager is also responsible for event planning of the yearly conference held for our members and sponsored by our vendors. This person is a liaison between Kairos and its many and varied audiences including all Kairos facility members, the Kairos Board of Directors, Stockholder executives, and group purchasing vendors.
